The change to DGH Construction reflects the continued evolution of our business and better represents the company moving forward. DGH reflects the names behind the company, Di Giulio and Hucker, and represents the next chapter of our business. While our name has changed, our team, experience, and commitment to our clients remain the same.

Yes, once we have a complete set of drawings, specifications, and a clearly defined scope of work. Without that level of information, we can only provide high-level budget ranges. If the project is still being developed, we would typically recommend beginning with our pre-construction process so the scope, drawings, selections, and specifications can be properly established before detailed pricing is prepared.

Pre-construction is the planning stage that takes place before work begins on site. During this phase, we work with the client and project team to establish the scope, review drawings and specifications, coordinate consultants, develop budgets and schedules, identify long-lead items, and address key decisions in advance.
Depending on the size and scope of the project, we require a non-refundable pre-construction deposit. If the project proceeds into construction with DGH, that deposit is applied toward the construction project. The goal of pre-construction is to reduce uncertainty and allow construction to move forward with greater clarity, coordination, and control.

Ideally, as early as possible. Involving us during the planning and design stages allows us to provide input on budget, constructability, scheduling, sequencing, and material selections before major decisions are finalized. Early involvement can help identify potential issues and keep the project aligned with the client’s goals from the outset.

Not necessarily. The level of design support depends on the scope of the project. In some cases, an architect or architectural technologist may be required, while other projects may only need design consultation. What is important is that we have the appropriate drawings, details, specifications, and selections needed to properly price, plan, coordinate, and construct the work. We can help determine what level of design support is appropriate for your project.

Yes. We regularly work alongside architects, architectural technologists, designers, engineers, and other consultants. If you already have a project team in place, we can work directly with them throughout the planning and construction process to coordinate drawings, specifications, selections, and site requirements. If you do not yet have the right professionals in place, we can also provide recommendations based on the needs of your project.
